"Dig Into Reading" at Alexander County Library and Bethlehem Branch This Summer!

It's almost time for summer reading and we are in the final days of sign ups! Programs for all ages - birth to 18 for the youth. There is even a program for adults including a master gardening program. So don't miss out. Read all about it at www.alexanderlibrary.org.

This Sunday, Father's Day - June 16, will be the first day to track your reading times. Next week will be the first week of programming as well. We have preschool storytime at Bethlehem branch at 10 am Monday, preschool storytime at the main library at 10 am Tuesday. Teen Night game night will be on Thursday evening at 5:00 pm till 6:45. Then, come Dig Into Polka with us at the Alexander Auditorium at 10 am Friday morning, June 21.

Please wait to turn your first reading time in on Sunday, July 23 or Monday morning, June 24. Summer readers need to have a full week to report. Goody bags will be available for reading times reported or when attending the first program.

We are partnering with the school system to offer free lunches after all preschool programs and bigtime Friday programs for children ages 1 -18. Children will need to eat onsite, but they are welcome to dine with us on these days.

Hope to see YOU at Alexander County Library this summer!
